Iowa-Grant National Honor Society
Our highest-achieving students aren't just leaders in the making: They are already respected role models in our community. The Iowa-Grant Chapter of the National Honor Society gives these students a place where they are able to receive recognition they've earned. While an NHS student membership is a true mark of academic achievement, it goes far beyond a report card. All student members must also reflect the program's respective pillars to be inducted - ideals such as scholarship, service, leadership and character - and they must continue demonstrating these pillars within their community throughout their membership.
At Iowa-Grant, the application process usually begins in the fall. Academically eligible Junior and Senior students receive an invitation from the adviser to complete and submit required application materials. Once the process has been completed and new members have been selected, they are welcomed into the organization by the current members during our official NHS Induction Ceremony.
