Vaccine Requirements

6th Graders
Students entering 6th grade need to have a Tdap (tetanus with the pertussis component) before school starts in the fall. Send the date of the vaccination to school with your child.

Kindergarten Students
Need to have their immunizations completed by the first day of school in the fall. Each student received a note in the spring telling what shots he or she needs prior to school starting

If you have BadgerCare or are uninsured, these vaccines are free of charge at the Iowa County Health Department (935-2810) and at the Grant County Health Department (723-6416). Iowa County requires that an appointment be made for immunizations. Grant County offers immunizations Monday-Friday 8am-4:30, no appointment needed. Those with health insurance must go to their health provider/clinic for immunizations.
