Students in Mrs. Heimsoth's 5th grade science class spent time learning about the science behind roller coasters. The students used the engineering design cycle to plan, create, test and improve their designs. A lot of teamwork and problem solving went into the designing and constructing. The group that created the longest roller coaster within their homerooms went on to compete against the other 5th grade homerooms. Congratulations to Tucker L., Ayson S. and Hayden J. on their Grand Champion roller coaster, "The Great Bambino", with a time of 5.23 seconds.
