Come out Saturday, April 12th, from 9 am - 1 pm, to the IG Parent Teacher Club Vendor/Craft Fair in the IGEMS Gym and Cafeteria. There will be 50 vendors, live music, a food stand, and a coffee truck. PTC will have apparel and IG items for sale. Come out and support.

Last weekend, 57 Iowa-Grant Musicians participated in Solo & Ensemble! There were a total of 39 instrumental events and 41 vocal events that performed throughout the day. Out of all those events, we had many students qualify to perform at the state level! The State soloists are: Lucy Spurley - Vocal Solo; Abby Hake - Vocal Solo; Addy Winkers - Vocal Solo; Quentin Koss - Vocal Solo and Musical Theater; and Will Fulton - Vocal Solo, Musical Theater, Trombone Solo, and Euphonium Solo. The State ensembles are: Will Fulton & Quentin Koss - Vocal Duet; Lucy Spurley & Quentin Koss - Vocal Solo; and Lucy Spurley, Trenton Pelton, Lily Linscheid, Evy Linscheid, Abby Hake, Mason Hove & Wyatt Aide - Saxophone Choir. The Iowa-Grant High School Cheer team will host a clinic with 4 UW Stevens Point Cheer Team collegiate athletes to teach IG High School Cheerleaders and interested IG students about cheer and tumbling skills. The clinic will be on May 17th, from 10 am to 4 pm. If your child will be a 5th - 12th grade student in the 25-26 school year, this clinic is for you. There is a limited number of spots. A few students at IGEMS were entered into the Helen Farnsworth Mears Art Contest through the Dodgeville Women's Club. We had four talented students who were awarded for their hard work. Jordence R. placed 1st and Caitlyn R. placed 3rd in the Drawing and Painting Section. Charlie B. and Evie K. were honorable mentions in the same category. Jordence's artwork will be displayed in the Dodgeville Public Library throughout April. Caitlyn and Jordence will have their artwork sent to a district competition. We are Panther Proud of you!
