Today, Jalyssa C., Bekka S., and Alexis TB. are representing the Iowa-Grant FFA Chapter at the 2022 FFA Farm Forum in Wisconsin Rapids. They will be learning about the agricultural industry from industry experts on the topics of beef production, agribusiness, ag health and safety, and potato production.

Dodge/Point/I-G Gymnastics What an incredibly emotional, nerve wrecking, and exciting meet. We started off pretty shaky in our first two rounds, but they regrouped and SHOWED 👏 UP 👏 on floor and vault and it was JUST enough to pull out the win. This week IGEMS is celebrating kindness week! In conjunction with our 100th day of school, the first graders were challenged to raise $100 for our Panther Pack program as an act of kindness. First grade families took on that challenge and surpassed our expectations. Our students and families raised a total of $210.89!! Thank you to all the families who donated. Your generosity and kindness are greatly appreciated!

Last night, the Iowa-Grant FFA competed at the District Leadership Development Event hosted by Cuba City FFA. Kaycee L. competed in the FFA Creed Speaking Contest. Alexis TB. and Julia S. both participated in the Extemporaneous Speaking Contest and the Discussion Meet. Gracie S. competed in the Prepared Speaking Contest talking about Eggs vs. Egg Alternatives. And lastly, Bekka S. and Evie W. participated in the Employment Skills Contest where they had to complete a résumé, cover letter, job application, and go through an interview process. Big congratulations to Alexis TB. for placing second in Extemporaneous and moving onto Sectionals at River Valley on March 9.

POST 2: The Wildlife and Natural Resource Management class is working hard building 3-D habitats for 10 wildlife animals that they drew out of a hat. The students have to make sure all their animals will survive and thrive. They have to incorporate a food source, water source, shelter, and enough space for each animal in their habitat.
