In Animal Science, students got to experience a hands on education with the dissection of hearts, lungs, and livers. Special thank you to Mr. Zimmer for joining in on the fun and sharing his knowledge as well. It is always fun to relate the animal organs to the anatomy of our own bodies as well.

The welding students are working hard to complete their SMAW pad this week. After Thanksgiving break, they will be working on joints - lap, butt, corner, edge, and T. Keep up the great work, gentlemen!

SWTC – Welding Program
On Tuesday, November 16th twelve Iowa-Grant High School Students participated in an on Campus “Day In The Life” welding event held at Southwest Wisconsin Technical College. During their morning on campus, students had hands-on learning experiences alongside SWTC instructors and SWTC students and practiced their own welding skills too. IG students were also treated to a complimentary lunch. Thank you to SWTC & their recruitment team (Brianna, Kay and Kyle) and welding instructors (Jeff & Tim). It was a fantastic event!!
A fun way to enhance our vocabulary is to have a Scrabble tournament. These 8th grade students are competitive and are having fun while learning!
