These students have reached the status of reading millionaires during the first half of the school year. They have read one million words! Studies have shown that students who read one million words in a school year have better vocabulary, background knowledge, problem solving skills, and perform better on academic tests. Keep on reading, Panthers! Pictured in the front are Joshua C. & Jordence R. Back Row (L-R): Will F., Lucas W., Hayden A., & Michael S.

This week first graders have been using their computer/technology time to learn a new game called Kahoot! Students got to use their ipads and work in teams to answer different questions. We hope you are enjoying meeting our staff! Here is Mrs. Prohaska.

Three 4th grade students traveled to SWTC in Fennimore for the annual MATH 24 competition. Math 24 is a learning game that teaches students the relationship between numbers. Students are presented with cards with four single-digit numbers. Students must add, subtract, multiply and/or divide to reach the answer and explain the process they used to reach “24.” Lucy A, Grant S and Elway W brought home 3rd place as a team! Way to go!
