On Thursday, April 13th the Iowa-Grant boys and girls teams competed at the Cassville-Potosi Invitational. The boys and girls teams both placed second overall!

Hope C placed first in the 800 with a new school record and first in the 1600 meter run
Galilea G placed first in the shot put with a new school record
Yessica G placed third in the discus throw with a new school record
Angelina P placed first in the triple jump and Amiah F placed third in the long jump
Elizabeth V placed third in the 200 meter dash
Girls 4x200 team placed 1st (Amiah F, Angelina P, Arleth G, Elizabeth V)
Girls 4x100 team placed 2nd (Arleth G, Jana L, Ella P, Jocelyn R)

Congratulations to the following FFA Seniors on earning their Wisconsin State FFA Degree! This award is a huge honor and accomplishment that recognizes their dedication to the agriculture industry.
FUN FACT: The last student to receive their Wisconsin State FFA Degree from Iowa-Grant High School was 10 years ago in 2013.

D.A.R.E. Graduation will be held on April 25th at 10:30 a.m. in room 100 of IGEMS. Parents and families of 5th-grade students are welcome to attend.
On Wednesday, April 12, 2023, 39 Iowa-Grant High School Seniors attended the annual Southwest Wisconsin Interactive Financial Literacy Event (SWIFLE) at the Lenz Center at Southwest WI Technical College, hosted by twelve area school districts and staffed with area community business leader volunteers. SWIFLE is an interactive hands-on experience for high school students designed to demonstrate the importance of sound money management skills. SWIFLE provides an opportunity for students to connect with community business representatives in an authentic situation where students test their budgeting skills. Based on their chosen career and randomly drawn marital status and family, students are asked to make a month’s worth of financial decisions, make deposits, make payments, and balance their accounts. Students make consumer choices about housing, transportation, insurance, retirement investments, credit cards, childcare, phone, internet, cable, gas, electricity, water, groceries, gasoline, clothing, personal items, household items, pets, entertainment, and recreational vehicles based upon the monthly pay earned from their chosen career. Students have a great time interacting with and learning from professionals with expertise in the field. Thank you to all of our volunteers for making SWIFLE a great experience for our students!

🏐🐾PANTHER VOLLEYBALL SUMMER CAMP is back for another summer! This camp started back in 1987 and has kept going strong ever since! Registration Information can be found at https://5il.co/1aldj
We offer a ton of coaching experience which includes our Camp Lead Coach, Gillian Pakula (IG Alum/Head Coach at Oshkosh West), Camp Director, Marla Simon (former IG Head Coach) and the rest of our coaching staff which is top notch! This camp teaches skills, teamwork and passion for volleyball, along with lots & lots of fun!
CAMP DATES are June 26-29th for grades 3rd -12th (entering in the fall). New this year boys can join in the grades 3rd- 8th! It is held at Iowa-Grant Elementary gyms. A FREE t-shirt to all campers that register by June 20th - which is also the camp deadline! See link provided to enter camp - send forms/fees by mail only!
