
Iowa-Grant Cross Country's Bret C. is State Bound! Bret placed 6th and was the 3rd individual qualifier in the Poynette Sectional.
Also, shout out to the boys and girls cross country teams for great team finishes. The boys team finished 4th, and the girls team finished 8th. It was a great season!

The junior English classes recently learned about the Salem Witch Trials and read The Crucible. They then wrote eulogies in memory of the characters who fell victim to the injustices of that time. Some students shared their eulogy with the class and all enjoyed refreshments after the memorial service.

Good Luck to our Iowa-Grant Cross Country Team as they compete in Sectionals!


Iowa-Grant agricultural students spent their Thursday this week at Southwest Technical College Ag Day. All of the students participated in 7 different hands on workshops. Some of the workshops included estimating corn yields, pig ear notching, artificial insemination of a gilt, dairy feed rations, and learning more about the golf course management program. Thank you Southwest Tech for hosting this event each year and to all the sponsors who help make it possible.











When life gives you apples, you make apple cider! Kindergarten had a wonderful field trip to Munchkey's Apple Orchard and Bures Pumpkin Patch yesterday. As a result, we had delicious apples for cider today!

In preparation for International Observe the Moon Night, the fifth-grade students were lucky enough to have Mr. Shimshak come to class and demonstrate the school telescopes. Weather permitting, on Monday, October 23rd at 7 pm, fifth grade - eighth grade students and their families are invited to come to the IGEMS parking lot to observe the moon and stars through our school telescopes. Please RSVP with the number of people planning to attend by emailing Mrs. Heimsoth (sheimsoth@igs.k12.wi.us) by Thursday, October 19th. We hope you can join us!


The junior class traveled to UWP to attend the Wisconsin Education Fair. Over seventy post-secondary and military representatives were in attendance to provide education opportunities to the students. After the fair, students stretched their legs and enjoyed the beautiful weather with a climb up the M.
