Wrapping up a crazy week of activities in the Music Department, our 5th and 6th Grade Choir students joined Opera for the Young for an unforgettable performance of Cinderella this morning. We learned a lot about what it takes to perform in an opera, and we had the chance to work with OftY's professional cast for the show. We had a great in-person audience and reached the rest of the building and some of the audience at home with a livestream of the performance. Special thanks to Mrs. Carlson and Mrs. Vacha, our Stepsisters, and thanks to all who helped make Cinderella a success!

March marks 2 years since school districts across the state dealt with a national pandemic. Schools balanced different learning platforms along with supply chain issues and staffing shortages. School nutrition departments remained diligent in meeting their students' needs and adapting to ensure all students were being nutritionally taken care of. We are beyond lucky to have these amazing ladies in our district and keeping our students fed nutritious meals each day! Join us in congratulating our Breakfast Heroes here at IG!!

Mrs. Hammerly’s Food Science class is making strawberry crisps with the strawberries from the FFA fundraiser! Tomorrow we will be taste testing. YUM!!
