The Iowa-Grant High School will be hosting their next Blood Drive on Friday, March 20th from 8:30 AM - 2:30 PM in the IGHS Gymnasium. This event is hosted by the IGHS Student Council and LEO Club and helps with scholarships for our Seniors.

Last weekend 18 Iowa-Grant Choir students participated in the SWAL Conference Honors Choir! The concert featured some folk song arrangements, Musical Theater songs, and some contemporary choral works. Quentin and Evie Koss also represented IG with some fantastic solos as well! Congratulations, Panthers!

Due to a forecast of continous windchills below -25 throughtout the day, Iowa-Grant Schools will be closed tomorrow - Friday, January 23rd.
All after school activities will be cancelled.
The IGHS Boys Basketball game against Cuba City will be rescheduled at a later date.

LNP Small Session - Agriculture & Commerce. Students learned about the different ways agricultural land is used in Germany and their common exports. They also learned about common industry in the country. After learning about the currency (Euro), they did a mock farmer's market and spent their allowance on some German snacks like pretzels, prosciutto, and cheese!
LNP Small Session - Music and Dance. Students created their own accompaniment to a German pop song using methods taught by German music teacher Carl Orff. They also learned how to polka!
LNP Small Session - Art. Fachwerkhaus is a type of architecture common in parts of Germany, especially Rothenburg. Students learned about this building style and were able to design and construct their own!
LNP Small Session - Literature. After learning about some of the folklore and fairy tales from Germany, students had the chance to read the Grimm Brothers' version of Little Red Riding Hood. The costumes should help you figure out who is playing which character!
