The students represent the Iowa-Grant School district as Sources of Strength Peer Leaders. The Sources of Strength Peer Leader promotes messages of hope, help, and strength throughout their school & community to prevent suicide, bullying, and substance abuse.
While at the retreat, students got to learn more about what it means to be a Sources of Strength Peer Leader, collaborate, and plan for future Sources of Strength campaigns that will support our school.

Season Recap:
The Panther Cross Country teams have had a great season so far. We have two meets remaining, Sectionals at Prairie du Chien (10/26), and State in Wisconsin Rapids (11/2). It’s hard to believe we’re entering the homestretch of the season, but we are excited to see what we can accomplish with our remaining races. Currently, the Boys Cross Country team is ranked #14 in the Wisconsin Cross Country Coaches Association poll!
The boys team has had some very strong team finishes this season, including 3rd place finishes at our home invite, Darlington, and Albany. We also placed 2nd at the Platteville Invitational and were Conference runners-up.
Our girls team has a lot of newcomers, including sophomore Abby D., who has been the number one runner for our girls squad. As mention earlier, she recently ran a personal best time of 23:31 at Conference, placing her in the Top 5 all-time in the 5K at IG. It has been exciting to see the improvement throughout the season
