This week, 5 members from IGHS had the chance to attend Southwest Wisconsin Technical College for Agriculture Day! The students had the chance to learn about meat quality, shop knowledge, agribusiness topics, sampled cheese, and even tested out the SWTC Golf Simulator!

Congratulations to our boys and girls cross country teams for their strong performances at last night’s SWAL Conference meet! The boys finished 3rd, and the girls placed 5th.

Special recognition goes to Angel Vazquez Bartolo (7th), Noah Lange (8th), Jason Bartolo Garcia (10th), and Ubaldo Bartolo Marin (15th) for earning All-Conference honors.

Shout out to our senior runners this year, Will Fulton, Noah Lange, Quentin Koss, Alexis Gaytan Gonzales, Pajessa Baker, and Addyson Winkers.

The teams will race next at the Sectional Meet on Saturday, October 25, at Prairie du Chien Country Club.

IG Cross Country will head to Cole Acres for their Conference Meet. Races start @ 4:15 PM.

IG Volleyball is at home to wrap up the regular season vs. Darlington. JV/JV2 Matches start @ 5:45 PM, Varsity @ 7:00 PM. It is also Volleyball Hall of Fame Night!

Iowa-Grant 4K-3rd Grade Students “Charged into Fire Safety” with the help of 12 local firefighters on Friday, October 11th. The students learned about safe charging locations for their devices, explored the tools and gear used by firefighters, and had the opportunity to get up close with fire trucks. Thank you to the Cobb-Eden, Linden, Livingston, and Rewey Fire Departments for sharing your knowledge and time with the students of Iowa-Grant during Fire Safety Week.
