Our boys and girls high school cross country teams are having a fantastic season! We have 4 meets remaining, including the Albany Invitational (10/7), the SWAL Conference Meet (10/12 at Iowa-Grant), Sectionals (10/20), and State (10/28). We are excited to continue racing and to see what we can accomplish in the remaining meets. Our team has worked hard all season, and we are confident that we are ready to perform at our best. We are grateful for the support we have received along the way!
Bret C. has medaled in every race so far, including 3 first place finishes. He is a key member of our boys team, which has had some excellent finishes this year, including 2nd place at Iowa-Grant Invite, 1st place at the Goat Hill Classic, and 2nd place at Platteville.
Our girls team is improved this year thanks in part to some new runners on the team. Meagan C., Makaya M., and Amiah F. have run times that place them in the top 7 runners at Iowa-Grant in the 5K. We are excited to see what the team can accomplish in the remaining meets.
We are also proud to have won the Spirit Award at the Greg Bell Night Meet in Boscobel. This award is given to the team with the most spirited tent area. It was definitely a fun night!
We are so proud of our team's' accomplishments this season. Cross Country is truly a team and individual sport, and these runners have embraced that concept - striving to be their best and competing as a team. They are a great representation of our school and the greater I-G community.

The elementary students had a fun recess today. Check out these 2nd and 3rd-graders enjoying the new jump ropes the playground area has. Have fun Panthers!

7th grade Agriculture class made caramel apples after spending the week learning all things apple. Did you know? Apples are 25% air, which is why they float in water.

Payton, Skyler, Georgia, Carter and CJ represented the Iowa-Grant FFA Chapter at the 2023 Fall Leadership Workshop held at Southwest Technical College on Monday night. The Fall Leadership Workshops are designed to prepare local FFA chapter officers and members for leadership roles in their school district for the upcoming year. It also informs each chapter of the new programs available to all FFA members and allows members to exchange ideas with other FFA chapters. The Iowa-Grant FFA members had a great time meeting other FFA members and sharing their enthusiasm for the organization. They ended up winning the spirit stick that was given out by the State FFA Officer Team! Great job, representing our school and FFA chapter in a positive light!

Congratulations to the 2023 Iowa-Grant Homecoming Court!
