The Iowa-Grant FFA Dairy and Livestock team attended the River Ridge Dairy and Livestock Contest on September 14. The Dairy Judging Team consisted of Ella, June, Elyse, Lillian, and Georgia. They placed 4th as a team out of 26 teams. Elyse was the top scorer on the team placing 3rd individually! The Livestock team consisted of Jonah, Bode, Baylee, Kaycee, and Natalie. Natalie was the top scorer on the team placing 22nd individually. Congratulations to all!

Iowa-Grant School District would like to thank Crystal from the Southwest Bus Terminal here at IG for all of her hard work and dedication to our students and the district. This fish tank provides a unique atmosphere for students. Fifth-grade students are responsible (with guidance) for taking care of the fish and fish tank throughout the year.
This school year middle school students spend a little more time in their homerooms in the morning. During this time students can participate in different group activities that in return build relationships with classmates. Check out Mrs. Allen's homeroom. This activity is a social-emotional learning BINGO activity called "Find Someone Who".

The Ag Department Welding Class is diving right into their Safety Unit! Today, they had a lab where they got to put what they learned in class to the test. Students practiced extinguishing a fire using the acronym P.A.S.S. - Pull the pin. Aim at the base of the fire. Squeeze the handle. Sweep the nozzle side to side. Always back away from the fire keeping your eye on the fire source even after you believe it is extinguished. Great job, welders! SPECIAL THANK YOU to Community Member and
