The Ag Department Welding Class is diving right into their Safety Unit! Today, they had a lab where they got to put what they learned in class to the test. Students practiced extinguishing a fire using the acronym P.A.S.S. - Pull the pin. Aim at the base of the fire. Squeeze the handle. Sweep the nozzle side to side. Always back away from the fire keeping your eye on the fire source even after you believe it is extinguished. Great job, welders! SPECIAL THANK YOU to Community Member and

The parade line-up will begin around 2:20 at the bus garage with the parade beginning at 2:40. Did you know Iowa-Grant serves breakfast every morning? We always offer fruits, whole grains and dairy. School breakfast provides a healthy start to the day for everybody.

Use the Event Code that is in the picture below and search. The name of your student should show up and you will need to click add. If it states that you need an access code please click on request access code and we will approve it. Once approved you will log back into your account and your student's picture should show up.
Picture Day #2 for IGEMS will be held on September 5th along with Picture Day #1 for the High School. Retakes will take place for both buildings on October 5th.
The Panther Pack Program is designed to send child-friendly food home to hungry children in 4K-8th grades who may be experiencing food shortages at home. If you need assistance feeding your child(ren) on weekends, the volunteers and staff members would like to give your family the opportunity to participate in the Panther Pack Program. Before a weekend or break, a bag of food will be discreetly placed in your child’s backpack for him or her to bring home and eat over the break. If your family is in need, please contact the IGEMS office to sign your family up for the program.
The Panther Pack Program is made possible through the generous donations of our community. We are in need of individual cups of fruit, oatmeal packets, cereal boxes, mac and cheese packets, spaghettio cups, individual packaged meals, and individually packaged snacks. Please bring any donations to the IGEMS office. If you would like to provide a monetary donation please make the check out to Iowa-Grant and mark it to the attention of the Panther Packs Program. Thank you for your generosity to make sure the students in the Iowa-Grant School District have what they need!
