REMINDER July Summer School starts next week 7/10-7/13

Friday, July 21 at 6pm and Saturday, July 22 at 10am I-G Theater Club and Missoula Children's Theater presents: BEAUTY LOU AND THE COUNTRY BEAST, an original country western adaptation of the classic fairy tale BEAUTY AND THE BEAST. Beauty Lou is the oldest daughter of the bronc-bustin’ balladeer Buck. At the local county fair, young Beauty Lou is upset by the ungrateful behavior of a miner who has won the blue ribbon for his beautiful roses. She calls him a beast and wishes that he would look like one too. Years later, when in danger of losing the family farm, Buck meets the miner-turned-beast. Beauty Lou agrees to befriend the Beast to save her family. Beauty Lou and the Beast both learn to look beyond appearances and first impressions and to see the beauty that dwells inside. The story, set in the American West, also features Beauty Lou’s six sisters, her Imaginary Friend, her dog Fleabite Clyde, farmhands Slim and Dusty, the neighborly Country Folk and the Barnyard Critters. See you at the show

Come on out and support the Iowa-Grant FFA Alumni Scholarship fund this Saturday in Livingston!

The Iowa-Grant FFA Chapter has received a $2,500 donation from Invenergy Badger Hollow Solar Farm Team to be used for the Iowa-Grant FFA Community Garden. The generous donation will help expand the community garden by adding more raised beds this fall when school is back in session! Special thank you to Invenergy Badger Hollow Solar Farm Team for supporting the agricultural department at Iowa-Grant High School.

Eighty talented young musicians came together from across the state to entertain FFA members, advisors, and guests during the Wisconsin State FFA Convention, performing at several convention sessions. This is a select group of FFA members. The band participants were selected through an application and audition tapes by the State Band Director, Monte Dunnum.
The first time these students practiced together is at the State FFA Convention. They begin rehearsing the first morning of the convention and are performing in only a short time after that. They are an exceptionally talented group. Additionally, the State FFA Band represents the Wisconsin Association of FFA at the Wisconsin State Fair in West Allis in August. The band performs over a four-day span at events during the fair.
Great job, Gracie, performing this week and representing the Iowa-Grant FFA Chapter in a positive way!

3rd through 8th graders explored the Wonderful World of Harry Potter during summer school. They made their own wands, sorting hats, potions, and monster book of monsters! They also had the chance to play some Harry Potter games and eat some Harry Potter snacks!

Reminder: Pool Bus runs 3 days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) and only $1!! Checkout the schedule below!

The State FFA Degree is the highest degree the Wisconsin Association of FFA can bestow upon its members. This degree is an honor and a great accomplishment for those who have reached this level of achievement.
We are honored to recognize 5 FFA members from Iowa-Grant FFA who have received their State FFA Degree. A total of 383 FFA members from across the state attained this accomplishment. Congratulations to Jonah H., Julia S., Alexis TB., Bekka S., and Evie W.!

The joy of play! We played games, participated in dramatic play, explored, designed, created, connected, and just had FUN!!

Wednesday's science class had us exploring the weather. We completed experiments to help us learn about air pressure, thunderstorms and rainbows. Thursday brought the most fun with a variety of experiments including making bubbles, a bouncy ball and a non-Newtonian fluid (cornstarch mud).
