Sixth grade students finished out the metabolism internship by making their own nutrition bars. They were given a budget of $10 per group for all of the ingredients. The students had to make a report about their bars. The report included how their ingredients meet the metabolic needs of a target population, an eye-catching label for their bar, and recipes they were not able to use based on the constraints they were given. Students did a great job collaborating!

Thank you IG PTC for providing Bouncy Houses on Tuesday. The students of IGEMS had a wonderful experience while wrapping up the school year.

Throughout second semester, FFA members and Ag students worked hard caring for the three tower garden growing systems that they were able to purchase through IGEF grant dollars and the Elmer G. Biddick Charitable Foundation. They grew a variety of lettuce and herbs for the high school lunch program. They look forward to continuing this project next school year! Who knows? Maybe they will explore other vegetables and fruits.... 🍓🥒🌶️🫑🥬🍅
