Yesterday was a PHENOMENAL day for State Gymnastics in Wisconsin Rapids! The Dodgeville Co-Op Gymnastics team placed 3rd in Division 2! Out of 7 State appearances, this is the best WIAA State finish in program history! The girls just missed the Runner Up trophy by 0.467 of a point. Rice Lake is the D2 State Champion with 138.234 and Monona Grove is Runner Up at 137.517. Let's hear it for our Dodgeville/Mineral Point/Iowa-Grant/Highland Gymnastics!!! Jaxon B. and Tyson I. have been nominated as the Subway/Papa Murphy's Athlete of the Week! (Iowa-Grant High School) Jaxson won the Division 3 165 lb weight class state championship at the WIAA State Individual Wrestling Championships over the weekend. Jaxson won by fall in 2:57 in the quarterfinals. Then he won by MD 8-0 in both the semifinals and finals to earn the state title. Tyson I. (Highland High School) Tyson won the state championship in the Division 3 157 lb weight class at the WIAA State Individual Wrestling Championships over the weekend. Tyson won his quarterfinal match by fall in 3:08. In the semifinals, he won by a 5-3 decision. In the finals, Tyson won by MD 11-3 to win the title.

On Thursday, members of the Iowa-Grant FFA Chapter spent the day at Southwest Technical College at 🔥FFA FIRE Conference🔥! Members had the opportunity to learn about all things FFA! Including Official Dress🤠 , FFA History🗝, SAE Development🐄, Leadership Skills🤝🏻 and other opportunities FFA has to offer🚜. While learning, members played games and had the chance to meet members for across the state as well as meet the Wisconsin STATE FFA Officers! 💙💛
