Members of the public are invited to join us for International Observe the Moon Night on Saturday, October 4th at 7:00 PM. The free event will be held at The Friendly Place in Livingston, Wisconsin.
International Observe the Moon Night is a worldwide public event that encourages observation, appreciation and understanding of our Moon and its connection to space science, exploration, and human culture. This annual event connects scientists, educators and lunar enthusiasts from around the world.
The event at Livingston will be held from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM weather permitting, with several Iowa-Grant School District library telescopes and a couple of large Dobsonian scopes.
International Observe the Moon Night is sponsored by NASA’s Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter (LRO) mission and the Solar System Exploration Division at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center, with many contributors. LRO is managed by NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Maryland, for the Science Mission Directorate at NASA Headquarters in Washington, D.C.

The final Saturday in September has some Panther Athletes in action! Our Volleyball team travels to Belmont for a varsity tournament, matches start @ 8:00 AM. And our Cross Country team heads to Reedsburg, races start @ 9:30 AM. Good luck to all our Panther Athletes!


The class of 2026 took a field trip to the American Players Theatre in Spring Green to see Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream. The show was wonderfully done, and the weather was perfect for a picnic before the play at the outdoor theatre.

What a fun and exciting week for Iowa-Grant Cross Country!
On Thursday at the Greg Bell Memorial Night Race in Boscobel, the Panthers brought home the Spirit Trophy and raced tough against a loaded field. The boys placed 6th (led by Noah Lange in a PR 17:42) and the girls 17th with some huge PRs.
On Saturday the 13th at the River Valley Invite, the boys finished 4th and the girls 14th. Lange medaled with a 15th-place finish.
To top it off, the Week 3 Coaches Poll has the Panther boys ranked #11 in the state.
Next up: Westby Relays on Tuesday and Reedsburg Invite on Saturday. Let's keep building momentum!
